Terms of Use

These terms cover the website at kayzart.com (“the site”) and the optional product survey included in the Kayzart WordPress plugin, both provided by K’s Art Office (“we”).

1. Scope

These terms apply when you browse the site or use the product survey.

They do not govern the plugin itself. Using, copying, modifying and redistributing the Kayzart WordPress plugin as software is governed by the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, which ships with it. Nothing here restricts the rights that licence grants you.

2. The plugin’s licence

The plugin is distributed free of charge under GPL-2.0-or-later. As that licence states, it comes with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

The licences of the third-party libraries bundled with the plugin are listed in its readme.txt.

3. The product survey

Answering is optional, and you may leave any or all questions blank.
Nothing is sent unless you press the submit button.
We use the answers to improve the product and decide what to build next.
Answers are analysed in aggregate, not used to identify individuals.

What is collected, how long it is kept, and how to access, correct or delete it are described in our Privacy Policy.

Please do not enter names, email addresses, login details or other personal information in the free-text fields, and do not enter anything that infringes someone else’s rights.

4. Things you may not do

When using the site or the survey, do not:

break the law or public order
infringe our rights or anyone else’s
submit information you know to be false
submit to the survey repeatedly by automated means
interfere with the site’s operation or place an excessive load on it
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site

The survey limits how many submissions one source may send per day. Submissions beyond that limit are refused.

5. Interruption and withdrawal

We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the site and the survey without prior notice.

The survey is scheduled to close on 31 August 2027. After it closes, the plugin stops offering it.

6. Disclaimer

We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of the information published on the site. We are not liable for damages arising from use of the site or the survey, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence.

Liability relating to the plugin is governed by its licence, as stated in section 2.

7. Third-party services

The plugin’s AI editing connects directly to the AI provider you configure and does not pass through our servers. That provider’s terms, pricing and data handling are a matter between you and them, and we are not responsible for them.

We are likewise not responsible for the content of any external site linked from here.

8. Intellectual property

The text, images and design published on the site belong to us or to their respective owners. The plugin’s source code is covered by the licence in section 2.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms when we consider it necessary. A revision applies from the moment it is published on this page.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Japan.

Any dispute between us and a user concerning the site or the survey shall be submitted to the Toyooka Branch of the Kobe District Court as the court of exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
